The Dean’s Research Symposia Series

Alumni are invited to attend the Dean’s Research Symposia Series, which showcases leading research being conducted at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and the Wake Forest School of Medicine.

The symposia—modeled on TED talks—feature leading scientific investigators from Wake Forest sharing bold thinking, the latest discoveries and their passion to improve health.

Each session is an opportunity to discover some of our newest research, establish potential collaborations and see how we turn what we learn into what we do as a learning health care system. Each event includes an introduction by each relevant chair or director, presenters who are early and mid-career investigators, as well as trainees, residents, students and others.

These symposia are offered for free, and reservations are not required to attend. All symposia are scheduled to start at 4 pm, last two to three hours, and include time for Q&A.
